TEMPLE-2

17/05/2016

Planning for 48 new homes on the  Former Temple Cowley Swimming Pool has been submitted to Oxford City Council. Since December 2014 when our client purchased the lease, Hester Architects have been working closely with Catalyst Housing, Oxford City Council and a team of specialist consultants to design a scheme that will improve and enhance the setting of the Library by respecting its Civic feel and providing high quality open space that can be enjoyed by the residents and the public. There is a desperate need for new homes in Oxford, especially new affordable homes. This scheme comprises of three contemporary blocks of 35, one, two and three bed apartments and a terrace of 13, three and four bed houses. 50 % of the dwellings will be affordable with 80% of these being social rent.
