Arla Foods own this site and it is currently being promoted by Albermarle for redevelopment as a mixed use scheme aiming to stimulate the regeneration of South Ruislip. The development will create leisure and retail facilities for local residents together with a selection of contemporary residential houses and apartments. The mix and siting of the uses have been carefully designed to provide good connectivity to the surrounding areas and create a community focus. DLA Architecture designed the commercial part of this scheme which comprises a Asda food store, 11 screen cinema, themed restaurants, petrol filling station and associated car parking. The Residential element of the Site designed by Hester Architects Ltd consists of 104 houses and apartments.
